I felt very comfortable using Hey Jane. I’ve used there services a couple times. Everytime everyone was very compassionate and good at making me feel comfortable with the process.

Ordering this online was easy, just be prepared they may ask you to do an ultrasound. For pain, make sure you have a plan and a partner. My partner and I planned a week in advance. He purchased a heating pad, my favorite soup, food, snacks and drinks, enough to last an entire day. We took the step two right before bed so I was able to sleep through 2 hours of it but the pain eventually woke me up. Thankfully we were prepared and he was right on it with the pad, pain meds, and soup. I don't recommend the pain killers they give if you have already and cramps and low pain tolerance. I take naproxen 500-800mg. It's easier on all fours or on the toilet, don't lay down. Put towels down if you're going to lay down or be on all fours because you will bleed on everything.

Really felt supported. My friend has had an abortion prior and hearing her story about the docs in our area made me really freaked out. Half of my anxiety left when I knew I could do it in the privacy of my own home and not have to get an ultrasound. All the instructions were clear and my doctor was there to answer all my questions. The only downside was payment as I was not eligible for some of the financial aid and my insurance didn’t cover it. However my friend who went the traditional route through Planned Parenthood said she had to pay more than me so depending on ones situation it is still an affordable option.

I'm happy that I found Hey Jane. I didn't want to go in-person and receive judgment faces. I was able to do this service in the comfort of my own home. I noticed that they offer other services which is great. If I ever need those, I may go here if I can't go to a clinic. Using Hey June was a good experience, being able to do the process at home. If you have a high pain tolerance, this is great, because the process is painful for people with low pain tolerances. But they give you a pamphlet with all the info you need which is helpful. Also the nurses online are great too.
